[/b] It’s impossible to account for every apparel mod, but the system is flexible and easy to extend via whitelisting. [hr] ❓FAQ Q: Can pawns wear multiple types of armor? Short answer: No Long answer: Kind of, but only where it makes sense. Examples: ✅ Plate armor + flak vest + flak jacket - all of these are different armor types, and would be able to be worn over each other in theory. The logic is easy to tweak, and the full source code is included intentionally. The relevant settings are exposed directly in the .cs files for anyone who wants to adjust them. [hr] 🛠 Editing & Customization Want to tweak or extend the mod? 1. Download Visual Studio (it’s free) 2. Open the included .csproj file 3. Adjust stacking logic or whitelists as needed I intentionally left the source code accessible. There’s no realistic way to support every apparel mod automatically, but adding compatibility is straightforward if you want to tailor it to your setup. [hr] 📝 Creator’s Note I looked everywhere for a mod that lets pawns wear more than a handful of clothing layers and came up empty. Vanilla RimWorld (and many apparel mods) add tons of great clothing options, but the base layering system is painfully restrictive. What do you mean my pawn can’t wear boxers and pants? 🤨 This was my first time writing C#, but with some determination and a bit of help from GPT, I finally got a mod working that allows you to stack apparel of the same layer and body part type together - without breaking the game.
