MS-66 Medium Seaplane Transport

The MS-66 is a medium seaplane transport aircraft, ushering in a new era of regional transport. From tropical islands to the frigid arctic, no location is too remote for you and your 12 passengers! Designed for and capable of operating on Sector Control's Transit mode (In testing at time of upload). As of 25/9//2025, this is my most subscribed build! Thank you all for your passion and support. [img]https://imgur.com/nxBImzD.png[/img] [b]SPECIFICATIONS[/b] Capacity: 2 pilots, 12 passengers Max speed: 200 knots Max sustained speed: 160 knots Cruise speed: 118 knots Endurance (cruise power) 3 hours Engine power settings are attached below. [b]TAKEOFF POWER IS NOT SUSTAINABLE DUE TO HEATING![/b] [img]https://imgur.com/hHiM0sj.png[/img] Equipment: -1 working WC with toilet & sink -2 dual-antenna Large radio with communication & direction finding capability -Basic Alt hold & Heading hold autopilots -1 Huge radio for long-range communications -Transponder emitter and receiver -Cabin heating _______________________________________________________________ [b]OPERATION[/b] STARTUP: -Battery breaker and Master Systems breakers ON -Engine Fuel L ON -Press Engine L Starter until engine runs -Repeat for Engine R -Parking brake release to taxi on land -Hotkey 6 will press wheel brakes -Throttle up and gently raise nose -Ensure both Landing Gear and Tip Floats are up after takeoff FLIGHT: -The aircraft will self-stabilise in flight by default. Press 4 in either seat to toggle this. An indicator will light to show if this has been done. -Press 5 in either seat to toggle mouse flying. -Make sure to maintain engine health by following engine parameters as show in the above table. Each engine has a [i]one-time use[/i] fire extinguisher in case of engine fire. -Flight and landing can be done with one engine. Do not exceed Max Sustained power on one engine or else you will yaw out of control! LANDING: -Ensure trim is neutral and control damper is on (light extinguished) -Verify either Landing Gear (green lights) OR Tip Floats (blue lights) are extended -Approach landing site at cruise throttle (0.35) -Extend flaps -Throttle to 0.25 to begin descent -Maintain neutral controls, giving small inputs as necessary [b]-DO NOT REDUCE THROTTLE TO FLARE!
