Overview
Add a new building to RimWorld: the [b]Electromagnetic Pulse Scanner[/b]! This advanced structure lets your colonists scan for hidden mineral deposits, keeping your colony supplied with vital resources even on well-mined maps. The Electromagnetic Pulse Scanner allows you to scan for any ore deposits hidden away in the mountains. It allows you to precision-mine rather than stripe mine your map - perfect for when you want to keep your mountains intact!

[*] [b]New Building:[/b] The Electromagnetic Pulse Scanner is a 3x3 powered structure unlocked after researching Ground-Penetrating Scanner.
[*] [b]Active Scanning:[/b] Assign colonists (Research work type) to operate the scanner and gradually reveal new ore deposits.
[*] [b]Auto-Mining Option:[/b] Enable auto-mining to have discovered deposits automatically marked for mining. Your pawns will mine a small tunnel to get to any revealed deposits using the shortest possible path.

How To Use

[*] Research [i]Ground-Penetrating Scanner[/i].
[*] Build the Electromagnetic Pulse Scanner from the Misc tab.
[*] Assign a colonist to operate the scanner (uses the Research work type). As scanning progresses, new ore deposits will be revealed for mining.
