She was built in Japan in 1974 as the Tanegashima Maru no. 2. In the 1990's, she was sold t George and Peter Lines where she became the M/V Zamboanga Ferry. However, in 2019 she, along with her fleetmates were sold to Lite Shipping. But Zamboanga Ferry was later sold to Roble Shipping, where she became the Claudine Star, and was placed in the Tacloban - Cebu route. Sadly, earlier this 2025, she sank in Pier 7 after a collision with a cargo vessel, and is in the process of scrapping.
