1:1, 75' Motor Launch - HMS ML-45 (1917)
75' Motor Launch HMS ML-45 1917
The very first of the Royal Navy's motor launches. The 75' class were designed to be built cheaply and be mass produced, as they were to patrol the many inlets and harbours of the UK during the First World War.
Due to this they were lightly armed and built, however over 580 were built. There were few modifications made during the war, however ML 51-580 were lengened to 86ft instead of the 75ft of ML 1-50.
This is a 1:1 recreation of the ML-45 as she appeared in 1917.
