TB2 Pod Platform & Elevator
Primarly used for the independant Thunderbird 2 Pods, either the originals from Hawkins656 as well as my version.
Personally, I would like to think its a nice companion piece to the Thunderbird 2 Launch Ramp, made by TFH
Automatically reacts whenever a Pod comes in close range, or anything that broadcast on the CH10.
First it 'Tilts' its platform untils its level and flush with the rest of the island's tarmac, with matching colors
Otherwise in its 'collapsed state' its should be relatively 'flush' vertically against the 'cliff'
Secondly, it raises its 'security rails' that used to 'catch' the pod in an attempt to center it on the platform.
Needless to say its expected that the incoming vehicle/pod comes in with a reasonable speed.
Thirdly, if properly centered, its 'Trap door' would open up, Pod itself remains secured along its edges.
The size of the Trapdoor is big enough to allow TB4 in Pod4 to be lowered & raised, as an alternative launch method.
Alternatively, there is a hidden console that gets automatically raised whenever the player is nearby
This allows to manually 'level the Platform', its security Rails and open its trapdoors.
However, this also allows the Platform to act as an Elevator, able to lowering itself down below the water surface levels
This also contains a Debug Switch, that allows for manually raising & lowering the platform
Additionally, there are several winches, along with stored Rope, which can be used to properly secure & anchor vessels
Their winch controls are operated by grabbing onto Handlebars, concealed within the floor, inline with Player Sensor
First 6x are placed onto the Trapdoors themselves, whilest 2x of them are placed into the recessed cliff face at sea level
Ideally, this final version should contain enough security measures that prevents it from acting out of order.
It should keep the Platform itself level, whenever the the 'Security Rails' are raised, and in turn the 'Trapdoors' opened
Otherwise it would only 'collapse'/'tilt' the plaform when its in its default raised level, flush with the 'tarmac'
