The RMS Royalty Of Scotland. Her keel was laid out on October 3rd 1912. The ship was finished on August 10th 1913. The ship entered WW1 as a troop carrier and survived the war. After WW1 it was put back into civilian use. The ship survived in ww2 as an ocean liner still but on December 7th 1943 the ship was on the Atlantic Ocean on the way to Glasgow Scotland from New York USA. But when the ship was halfway to Glasgow at 12:30 AM. A storm rolled in. The ship had to slow down because of how hard it was to see. But 15 minutes later at 12:45 AM a German U-Boat fired 2 torpedoes. Both torpedoes hitting the port side bow. The ship flooded with water quickly. Windows shattered and debris was everywhere. Some lifeboats were even destroyed. After 5 minute after the torpedo hits the entire bow was already underwater. But 20 minutes later the ship broke in half. All dark. It only took 5 minutes for the rest of the ship to sink. Only 35 people survived the rapid sinking out of the 2,450 people. 450 of the deaths being children.
