Vac-U-Shields

Description Vac-U-Shield, Protecting the "U" in Vacuum! Advanced shields and apparel to protect your pawns from vacuum! While playing Odyssey, I found myself frustrated that pawns were suck in Vacsuits 24/7, which not only weighed them down but was incredibly boring! Not content to just have modded apparel that just gave complete vacuum resistance, I gave these shields a limited lifespan (about an in-game hour, quality depending), just like your core shield belts. This gives your pawns a little time to grab a suit when debris crashes through the roof, or pop outside to fetch some chunks. But not enough time to fight off a horde of mechanoids. The worn shields will drain while in vacuum (50%+ vacuum) and otherwise recharge, but if their energy is reduced to zero, they will require some time to reset. The stationary shield bubbles will provide a spot to recharge your shields or mount a defence against the hordes! This is my first Rimworld mod and attempt at textures, so please be kind!
The apparel Vac-U-Shield Jumpsuit A stuffable Jumpsuit with a built-in shield and extra Synthread insulation to fend off the cold. Paired with a standard Vacsuit helmet, you can even survive a little longer after the shield runs out of power. The shield pack makes the jumpsuit too bulky for most armours, but it works well with a duster or flak jacket.

Mass: 4.0kg
Armor: 25%
Insulation Cold: 30% + 50c
Insulation Heat: 20%
Vacuum Resistance: 10%
+5 Work speed increase
Covers: Torso, Neck, Shoulders, Arms, Legs Layers: Skin, Middle Vac-U-Shield Belt More powerful than the built-in shield, and gives you the freedom to wear anything else. But make sure to wrap up warm, it doesn't protect you from the cold! (Like the core shield belt, this doesn't feature a worn texture, maybe one day I will add one like the VAE belts.) Note: Wearing both is certainly possible, but they will both drain simultaneously. Which kind of defeats the point.
The buildings EXPERIMENTAL Vac-U-Shield Bubble Generator A device that can be built to provide a bubble of breathable air for you to shelter in, outside the comfort of your home/base/prison. Available in 3 sizes:

Small - Radius 3, requires 300W
Medium - Radius 4, requires 600W
Large - Radius 5, requires 1000W
It does not protect against the coldness of space, and its solar radiation-blocking properties also prevent plants from being grown. Note: To allow for this bubble to be created and fill the vacuum, the generator produces a room of invisible walls/doors and a roof. Walls and similar objects will block the creation of these walls, and may prevent a vacuum seal from being created. Best used in open areas, but can be used against walls at your own risk! This may also have other unforeseen side effects...
Future Plans I have ideas, like adding armour variants of the jumpsuit in the style of FO4 clothing armour (full suits, not modular). And an Ultra-tech variant that is significantly more powerful and only occupies the skin layer. However, this means going back to drawing more textures, and I already lost my will to live on the first set...
Credits/Thanks All the work is my own or edited from the provided core assets or wiki tutorials. I want to thank all the contributors to the Wiki Modding Tutorials[rimworldwiki.com] I wouldn't have managed this without their guidance. I also took inspiration from the Vanilla Expanded Team's work for guidance on balance.
Compatibility This seems to work fine in my own mod list of 200+ mods, and I would be surprised if it didn't work with most mods. The two notable mods that I expect people to be interested in and need compatibility with are SOS2 and CE. I use neither, so I'm not currently planning on adding compatibility for either. CE I understand has its own tools for adding compatibility, not that the shield part should make a difference, only the apparel itself. SOS2, I know nothing about, but I think if this was needed for SOS2, it would have likely been made already.
