- Patched the costs of VWE - Laser uncraftable weapons.
- Added the correct filter for 4x shell recipes from SoS2.
- Sterile tiles now require stainless steel.
- SoS2 wreckage now yields aluminium and/or titanium when deconstructed.

- Added a new automatic patch for batteries (the option is unavailable if there are no batteries to patch.)

- Disabling steel, plasteel or component generation now properly hides them from the long-range scanner and prevents them from generating on asteroids.
- Remade a lot of patches to ensure better integration and balance.
- Advanced industrial weapons now require tempered steel instead of stainless steel.
- Tempered steel made more useful in general.
- Rebalanced component recipes. Now you can make up to x3 of each component and save resources by utilizing different recipes.
- Making components with iron and bronze is now togglable (disabled by default).
- NEW RESOURCE: Aluminium. Available when Odyssey DLC is enabled, and required for many gravship recipes and buildings (see description images, packed now in the "About" folder for them fish n' chip eaters.)
- Mod ores now properly generate on asterods.
- Added fully-fledged compatibility patches for Vanilla Gravship Expanded - Chapter 1.
- Added new orbital metal traders. Regular traders now are more prone to carrying mod metals as well.
- Rebalanced patched costs for vanilla ship parts.
- Lead generation commonality reduced from 0.7 to 0.5.
- Tin generation commonality reduced from 0.5 to 0.3.
- Tin lump size range reduced from 10~15 to 7~10.
- Added fully-fledged integration with SoS2 (Took ya long enough, dork >:c)
- Titanium mass reduced from 0.55 to 0.35.
- Vanilla Vehicles Expanded vehicles now require parts of tempered steel and titanium. Rebalanced cost of making car parts as well.
- Patched recipes from VRE - Android.

Expanded Materials - Metals is a mod that aims to add complexity and difficulty to the gameplay experience of Rimworld by adding new metal resources such as iron or copper. The mod is aimed to be integrated with the vanilla game and some of the most popular mods out there. You can expect more complex production chains and more immersive gameplay, especially if you are seeking for a challenge and variety.

Q: Where are the settings?
A: Under the "Vanilla Expanded Framework" tab.
Q: Save game compatible?
A: Adding the mod mid-game will not cause issues, but the new resources will not generate naturally.
Q: Can I switch from the old version?
A: No, sadly. This new version has new code and internal names, and switching will 100% break your save.

A: It's unlikely that I will make patches for mods that I don't use, that's why I made my best effor to make automatic patchers and make the mod as intuitive as possible, so that other modders will be able to make their own patches if they want to.
