Sawyer Nuclear Power Plant V2
About:
This is supposed to be a Realistic Pressurized Water Reactor or (PWR). For Stormworks standards atleast. DeepScience Inc. Is a fictional company running the place. There's a realistic Turbine Generator, Offline Core Cooling, cool Heat Exchangers, Blowers, Pumps, a Steam Generator, Service Polishing and more. Hope you all enjoy :D
LOCATION: Almsot bottom left of Sawyer Island. A little icon should mark the location on the map.
PASSCODE: 1081 (There is also a note at the Security Desk.)
**Startup**
Make sure all Circuit Breakers in the Control Room are On. Turn off Offline Core Cooling (OCC) and remove the Shutdown Rods. You can either withdraw Rods Manually or use the Automatic Control (recommended.) Isolation valves Isolate the Reactor from the Steam Generator so make sure they are on as well. Use Steam Generator Feed-Pumps to circulate water from the Reactor into the Steam Generator. Recirculationg Pumps can be turned on as well. Once Steam is being created open the Turbine Valve to Runup the turbine and the Generator. The bypass valve sends steam straight to the Condenser. The other Controls should be pretty self explaining.
About Certain Controls:
A3-5: Emergency Shutdown.
Hotwell Recirculation Pump & Valve: Pumps Hotwell Water into the Condensate Storage Tank.
Feedwater Pump: Increases Reactor Vessel Water Level.
Service Pump: The Service Pump pumps Water from the Lake through Polishers, ensuring Clean Water and makes up the Condensate Storage Tank Level.
Condenser Cooling: During Turbine Operation Condenser can get Hot. Condenser Coolant Pumps Circulate Water Through Heat exchangers to make sure the Condenser remain Cool.
Heat Exchanger Blower(s): Cools the Heatexchanger(s)
Relief Valves: Relief Pressure from a System.
ECCS: ECCS is curcial during Emergencies. If Core water level drops too low and may Expose the Fuel Rods, Water Level Can quickly be increased by this System and the Injection Valve. REMBER: ECCS BACKFLOW - happens when Tank pressure is below Reactor Vessel pressure, causing the ECCS to backflow, making things even worse during said Emergency.
UPDATE: Fixed a few things.
