It activates the moment it is spawned. Fuel rods are inserted 5 seconds after activation, and it takes 2.5 minutes for power generation to begin, and 3 minutes and 40 seconds for full output to be reached.
The average output is around 1880.
You can turn it on/off and set the temperature from the control panel on the side.
