Ever found yourself thinking, “I need everyone focused on construction right now,” or “Let’s get the whole colony harvesting before disease ruins the crops”? Temporarily changing work priorities is easy—but restoring the original setup afterward can be a hassle. WorkPresetSwitcher is a simple mod that allows you to save and load work priority settings as presets. You have access to five presets, each of which can be renamed and easily swapped depending on the situation. This helps you avoid tedious reassignments and keeps your colony running efficiently. Key Features Once enabled, this mod adds a row of buttons to the bottom of the Work tab: • Left side: Five preset buttons Unused presets appear dimmed; the active preset is highlighted. • Center: A Clear button This clears all current work priorities (does not save them). • Right side: Four control buttons for the selected preset: • Save: Saves current work priorities to the selected preset • Load: Applies the preset’s settings to all colonists • Delete: Erases the contents of the selected preset • Rename: Renames the selected preset • Note: Control buttons (except Save) are disabled if the preset hasn’t been saved yet. Installation and Compatibility This mod can be enabled or disabled at any time. Loading a save that includes data from this mod while it's disabled may trigger an error message—but gameplay will continue normally. When you save the game again, mod data will be removed from the save file. DLC and Mod Compatibility Confirmed to work without issues alongside the following DLCs: • Biotech • Odyssey Also supports WorkTypes introduced by these mods: • [FSF] Complex Jobs – supports all split job types • Fishing WorkType • Job Splitter – supports all extended job types WorkPresetSwitcher is not compatible with job categories that are exclusive to Work Tab. It does support priority levels 0–9, but if Work Tab is disabled, presets must be re-saved. Additionally, conflicts may occur with other mods that overhaul or extend the Work tab interface.
