Habu Medium Tank
Parallel to the development of the highly successful Mamushi medium tank, the Imperial Redamuran War Directory's tank doctrine also called for a moderately heftier vehicle which could perform as a stronger close support and breakthrough vehicle. Since the logistics of transporting these vehicles over large distances was still a major concern, this meant that the tank's overall acceptable weight and footprint would need to be as close to the limit of acceptable parameters as possible. Furthermore, the tank would need to possess stronger firepower to properly complement infantry when fighting enemy vehicles or fixed positions.
The Habu medium tank entered service as the largest Redamuran tracked fighting vehicle at the start of the war, and shared a similar layout and design features as the Mamushi light tank it was designed to serve alongside. While its overall speed mobility was only around half as effective as its smaller counterpart since they both utilized the same engine, the tank could still reach a respectable top speed for a vehicle of its size. Furthermore, while its armor wasn't all too much of an improvement to go along with its larger size, its 57 mm anti-tank gun was powerful enough to overmatch any enemy armored vehicle at the time.
