S.S dave

The S.S dave was a cargo ship built in 1911 and was the 2nd ship of her class, outfitted to carry coal for robert shippings to carry coal from Canada to Britan. in 1914 just before the great war she was bought by the royal navy to transport coal for their warships. In late 1914 she was again brought into dock to be changed into a Q-ship. In 1915 she was back out to sea, being the part of a small cargo ship. As winter ended she was stopped by the Ub-78 and was asked to surrender. She "complied" and 3 of her crew started to lower the lifeboat, and then they opened the hull up and open fired on the sub, causing it to sink, but not before they launched a torpedo, causing the S.S dave to sink just 2 miles off the coast of France after 3 hours, taking 2 of the 10 people onboard.
