[b]Basic Rules of Operation:[/b]
Use the key switch next to the steering wheel to start the jeep into park
While in park, the handbrake is on and you cannot drive
Using the Up arrow key will bring you into Drive
Using the Down arrow key will bring you into Reverse
W/S is for Gas/Brake
A/D is for steering Left/Right
Please bring the vehicle to a complete stop before switching between Drive and Reverse as you have to pass through Park
[b]Description:[/b]
This is my WWII Willys inspired jeep that was built in late 2022. This is my first complete and somewhat functional land vehicle that I finally decided to upload to the workshop. This vehicle is very primitive and is quite janky when driving around, however it is still fun to drift around and jump over hills.
Under the hood you will find a naturally aspirated inline 4 engine paired with a 3 speed automatic transmission. Achieving 0-60 MPH in just under 5 seconds and 0-100 in a little over 10 seconds this jeep isn't the slowest of the bunch. Eventually topping out around 120 MPH the engine surely will be screaming at you as this vehicle was not built with fuel efficiency in mind. Equipped with a fuel gauge, low fuel warning, and a refuel-able tank via the fluid hose anchor hidden behind the back right tire, you will always be on top of keeping your jeep running. Alongside on the dash is your speedometer, tachometer, engine temperature gauge, battery level, and an overheating warning in case you push the engine too hard. If you ever find yourself in any sort of trouble, this jeep comes with a welding torch, fire extinguisher, rope, cable, hose, flare gun, binoculars, medical equipment, and weapons (Weapons DLC Only). On the passenger side the dash is fitted with a two-way radio system which allows you to communicate up to 4 Km. Rescue technology features onboard GPS which allows you to relay the vehicles exact coordinates to any responders, transponders are also fitted into the vehicle and can be activated via the driver's seat. There is also a self destruct button incase this jeep may be captured and taken into the wrong hands. Upon activation, you have 30 seconds to get away before the vehicle explodes. If you are not sure if you activated self destruct, a loud alarm will be blaring and a red light will be illuminated just above the middle of the dash on the hood of the vehicle.
This was my first official iteration of an engine and transmission microcontroller. Feel free to tinker and build on them as that was what really helped me improve future car builds of mine! I still use modified versions of this ECU in recent vehicles and have added and improved many features since.
