Midland Railway Johnson "1142" Class 0-6-0
S W Johnson's 1142 Class was one of many 0-6-0 class steam locomotives built for the Midland Railway.
The first of 120 "1142s" entered service in 1875 and some survived until the very end of steam in 1964, after having various modification including new cylinders, boilers, fireboxes and cabs.
This example is a 1876 built Neilson, Reid & Co. version and had a service life of 84 years, 8 months, 25 days with the Midland Railway, LMS and BR.
This is an imitation steam locomotive do to the lack of inside cylinders available in stormworks.
