Overview
The [b]Pansarbandvagn 301 (PBV 301)[/b] is a Swedish armored personnel carrier developed in the early 1960s.
It was built on the chassis of the [i]Stridsvagn m/41[/i] light tank and used to transport infantry during the early Cold War period.

Background
In service with Swedish armored brigades from [b]1961–1971[/b], the PBV 301 bridged WWII-era designs and modern APC concepts before being replaced by the PBV 302.
It provided reliable troop transport for Sweden’s mechanized infantry during the early Cold War.
