Im planning on making different versions, SAR, Firefighter, Armed, Cargo
-Landing/ taxi light modes allow flaperon movement
-3 mode flaps. 0 degrees, half for normal approach, and full flaps for steep approaches
-prop feather for stopping very quickly
normal approach
put throttle to 50%
flaps 0 or 50%
landing lights to landing mode (unlocks flaperons)
about 10 feet above the ground start backing off the throttle untill you settle, (you have to flare alot so its prone to floating) on the ground control speed by feathering and unfeathering the prop
steep/ STOL approach
throttle 40%
flaps 50% or 100%
landing lights to landing mode (unlocks flaperons)
throttle 50% or slightly higher
make approach and just above the ground feather the props and you will slow down very quickly then when on ground lower throttle to idle.
known problems:
engines overheat very slowly
