I really hate those priority numbers. First the game sorts by the numbers you set, then it sorts by an arbitrary order the devs decided on? Wouldn't it make more sense just to modify that order directly and skip the numbers entirely? Well, that's what this mod does.
INSTRUCTIONS: Everything highlighted red is disabled. Click and drag to reorder, right click to quick enable/disable. Multiple work types can be reordered at once using shift-click to select, then dragging/right clicking.
Now with icons! Custom icons included for all work types from the base game, the DLC, and the following mods:
- Allow Tool
- Vanilla Books Expanded
- Vanilla Genetics Expanded
With more icons to come in the future. Icons can be turned off in the settings if you prefer the old text system.
Compatibility is very hit or miss, but the mod will be safe to add or remove from most saves, so you can test it out and see what happens. Mods that add new work types aren't an issue, but mods that change the fundamental behavior of the work tab or priority system probably will be, as this mod completely replaces those.
