I present to you the BWE MGE MD (BWE stands for Blue Water Enterprises).
This is a medium mobile generator unit, capable of producing 52E in normal mode and up to around 78E in boosted mode, which can be enabled by toggling a button.
Keep in mind that in boost mode, the engine will gradually overheat.
To prevent overheating and critical failures, the unit includes a fail-safe system that automatically reduces throttle to 0.8 when the temperature exceeds 80°C, activating a red warning light.
If the temperature reaches 90°C, a buzzer will sound, and at 100°C, the engine will shut down automatically. It can only be restarted once the temperature drops below 80°C.
Many of its parameters can be adjusted or toggled directly on the microcontroller, allowing for flexible customization to fit your setup.
Additionally, the generator features a fuel cutoff valve, allowing you to manually stop fuel flow for maintenance, safety, or emergencies. It holds up to 375 liters of diesel, providing a solid runtime for extended operations.
The instrument panel includes a low fuel warning light (the trigger value can be set via property) and displays essential data such as fuel level, engine RPS, engine temperature, and current power output.
It has a mass of 626 and costs $7264, I’d say it’s a pretty solid unit to have!
The design was inspired by 454ss RAT UGEN, but that’s about it; all programming and construction were done entirely by me, so there might still be a few bugs I haven’t discovered yet.
I’m open to suggestions and improvements, and I’ll be updating this one over time.
No need to credit me if you publish something based on this creation, but it’d be cool if you did!
Anyway, happy playing, and I hope you enjoy it!
