With recent YouTube personalities diving into Jet engine configurations I thought I'd provide a really clear demo. This shows the fuel efficiency advantages of each configuration. When all engines stabilize you will see that the same power can be generated with half the fuel cost depending on configuration.
The more you scale, the more fuel you save. ;)
