Overview
The Airborne Nuclear Command Center (ANCC) was conceived in the final years of the Federation’s Atomic Renaissance Program, a desperate initiative to ensure that no decapitation strike—nuclear, militaristic, apocalyptic, or otherwise—could sever the nation’s chain of command.
Developed by Bacon Incorporated, a state-corporate conglomerate renowned for its high-risk engineering culture and eccentric leadership, the ANCC became a flying citadel of survival. Every line of circuitry, every inch of fuselage, was designed to outlive the death of the world below.
The plane functions as the nerve center of the Federation’s nuclear triad, capable of assuming direct control over land-based silos, submarine-launched weapons, and orbital deterrents. When elevated to Continuity Condition Omega, the ANCC becomes the de facto capital of the Jakey Federation—its crew legally empowered to act as the National Command Authority until ground communication is restored.
