CleanTechExpanded: Nanotech Cleaning Technology
CleanTechExpanded is a lightweight and practical mod that introduces a series of “Nano Cleaners”—automated cleaning devices for your colony. From the entry-level Mark I to the futuristic Mark III, enjoy progressive cleaning tech that reduces daily maintenance burdens.
🧼 Features
- Mark I: Cleans once per hour, requires restart every 8 hours.
- Mark II: Cleans every 30 minutes, requires restart every 24 hours.
- Mark III: Cleans every 0.25 hours (15 minutes), never requires restart—now with enhanced visual effects.
🌀 Advanced automatic cleaning mechanics:
- Operates only within fully enclosed indoor spaces with an intact roof. Functions normally even in vacuum or oxygen‑free environments, as long as the room is sealed and roofed.
- Will not activate if placed outdoors, near map edges, or in rooms with missing roof sections.
- Requires connection to the electrical grid; exposure to rain may cause short‑circuiting and shutdown.
- Includes icon prompts for power status, outdoor placement, and restart state.
🔬 Dedicated research branch:
Unlock cleaner tiers through the custom “Clean Tech” research path.
🔧 Balanced gameplay:
- Each tier has distinct cost and research requirements; building work times rebalanced for gameplay flow.\n
- Supports removal and reinstallation (minifiable), allowing flexible layout adjustments.
🌍 Language Support:
- Now includes Simplified Chinese, with more languages to come!
