[b]History[/b]
This aircraft is based of F-86 "Sabre" and its variance, which first flew in April 1947 (during the Korean War), and entered service with the United States Air Force in 1949. It was developed in response to the threat of the MIG-15's flown by the soviets. This aircraft also became the first jet to ever fire guided air to air missiles in combat. The last F-86 built was delivered to the U.S. Air Force in December 1956.
