It's Not Slavery!

It just isn't! A simple mod to prevent drop pod gifts from giving the "sold slave" mood/opinion malus. But why? Because RimWorld is a game that allows the player to be cruel, it assumes that the player will be cruel. Many game mechanics are designed with the assumption that the player is acting with malice, and punishes you accordingly. But, of course, if you're not trying to be evil, it feels like you're being punished unjustly. In this case, sending a pawn (whether a prisoner or a colonist) in a drop pod to another faction is considered selling them into slavery. This annoys me a lot, because I like to instead view it as sending them to live with an ally. All the factions you can interact with like this are planet-spanning civilizations, not individual settlements like yours, so it's pretty safe to assume they'd appreciate some new able-boded citizens—Even if it's a former raider that they're going to have to rehabilitate and recruit much like you would. Doesn't this make the game easier? I would class this as a roleplay mod. If you're shooting a random visitor in the foot, ripping out their organs, and shipping them off to your allies for rep, then yeah, this would make the game easier by removing one of the consequences for your evil actions. But if you're patching up some idiot who tried to kill you, replacing the parts that got blown off in the shootout, and sending them to live with an ally who will teach them to Not Be An Idiot Raider, then I wouldn't say so.
