TRS-1 Neptune Nuclear Rescue Ship
Description
This is a nuclear powered rescue ship capable of deploying to any emergency around the map. It's power source allows it to travel for a nearly unlimited time, allowing it operate for as long necessary. It has a top speed of around 85 mph, letting it reach any destination relatively quickly for a ship of its size. It has a passenger area with two medical beds and 12 seats, a preparation room, crew cabin, cafeteria, equipment room, and more.
Operation
To turn on the ship, simply go up to the bridge and find the control panel on the right side. Turn the key to unlock the labeled button that turns on the nuclear reactor. It takes a little bit for the reactor to start producing power, so just look at the dial to see how watts it's producing. You can then go to the wheel and begin sailing the ship. The controls are labeled on the wheel for ease of use.
Features
Bridge
Starting at the bridge, there are a few different seats that control different things. On the left side lies the camera and spotlight operator, which controls spotlight and infrared camera located on the radio tower. On the right side is where the radio operator sits, transmitting and receiving both radio and video frequencies. The wheel in the center pilots the boat as well as controls the water cannon on the front of the ship (this uses look controls). This is also where the bridge unicom can be used to communicate to any room inside the ship. All the exterior light controls and siren are also activated from this position, on the left. The autopilot is located on the right.
Deck
The back deck has helipad on which the small, H-146 Helicopter can operate from. There is a charging station on the left side of the deck and a refueling station on the right side that has about 34,000 liters of diesel. Two sets of winches in the back can be used to pull or tow other vehicles and there's ladders on the back and sides. The front deck contains the controls for the two anchors that can be deployed on either side.
Interior
The ship has a spacious interior with plenty of room for activities. The very top deck is where the bride is located, and the middle deck contains the passenger area, preparation room, and cabin areas. The next lower deck is where the cafeteria, bathroom, shower/laundry room, and armory are located (for the more intense situations). The armory room code is found on the bulletin board in the cafeteria. The very bottom deck houses the repair room, supply room, and engine room. The station just in front of the engine room has a camera that views the nuclear reactor to see whether it's damaged or not without risking the player.
Conclusion
This has been my most ambitious build so far and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Special thanks to SergeantST for helping me out and collaborating on this. I also want to thank Spider for the initial inspiration (his creation is linked down below). If there are issues or you have any questions, simply put in the comments.
