简介：
原版派系扩展的海盗派系，拥有自带的特色叙事者、新的飞船坠毁开局剧本与两种新火炮。
海盗们现在有了新的派别：
“[b]战棺海盗团[/b]”掌握着独特的“[b]无畏战棺[/b]”技术——通过将自身封进如同“金属棺材”般的密闭装甲中，他们可以尽情地袭击、劫掠、杀戮，直至走向死亡。他们会驾驶满载着无畏战棺猛男的太空战机直接撞向你的殖民地。
而“[b]雇佣兵团[/b]”则有所不同，他们可以被拉拢并成为盟友，但无法在科研或贸易方面提供太多帮助。
当然，通过研究，你也可以[b]定制并打造属于自己的无畏战棺[/b]。
此外还增加了新的系统——你可以使用通讯台来雇佣海盗们为你干几天的活，不过这可能要花费许多白银。
如果安装了文化DLC，你还可以享受新的“[b]海盗主义[/b]”模因。
