Polo Shirt Field: home of the North Sawyer Manta Rays | SBL
Founded in 1894, the North Sawyer Manta Rays (NSM) are the very first organization to join the Stormworks Baseball League (SBL). They are a part of the Harbor League (HL), which is opposed by the Trainyard League (TL).
Renowned for being a very hitter-friendly park with its short lines and smaller outfield, Polo Shirt Field is located at O'niell Airbase in the Sawyer Islands.
The field is equipped with both team's dugouts and bullpens underneath the outfield concourse. There are plenty of seats behind home plate, but other seating is limited so standing may be required in some areas. This stadium has no lights, and cannot be used for night games.

In 2025, the Manta Rays were looking to make a push for their record-breaking 17th championship and made some key free agent signings in the offseason. They signed two star outfielders, a catcher, and a first baseman. They also brought up a new shortstop from their AAA team.
The Manta Rays were led by their star starting pitcher, Bartholomew "Substantial Seductive" Cologne. In 31 starts, he threw 207.2 innings with a 2.51 ERA and 189 strikeouts. For this effort, he was awarded the Jim Olds award for the best pitcher in the HL.
In 2025, their push was successful. In 152 games, the team had a record of 97-55, good for the second best record in the HL. In the playoffs, they would first best their rival team and 2025 3-seed South Arid Imperials, beating them in 4 games in the best-of-5 division series. In the best-of-7 HL championship series, they would beat the 1-seed FJ Warner Mandarins in 6 games to advance to the Stormworks World Series vs TL 4-seed East Arid Sandstorm. In this final best-of-7, each team would trade blows, taking the series to 7 games. Ultimately, the Manta Rays would win in a 12-inning thriller that saw them snap their 49 year championship drought.
