SAAB JA-37D VIGGEN --Made by LLSP-- This is not affiliated with the company SAAB in anyway [img]https://i.imgur.com/5lGTkz5.png[/img] Real JA-37 With tail number 47, the airframe this viggen is based of About The JA-37D Jaktviggen was different from the other viggen variants. It featured a more powerful engine, making it the fastest version at mach 2,2, a better datalink system and a 30mm oerlikon KCA Cannon. It was the fighter/interceptor version and that meant that it could carry a variety of different missiles (RB71 Skyflash, RB24J Sidewinder and RB75 Maverick). It had a very short takeoff and landing distance and that meant that it could operate from regular roads. The vertical stabilizer could fold so it could fit in underground tunnels. The most notable thing about Jaktviggen is that it succesfully intercepted, escorted and locked on to multible SR-71 Blackbirds during the 1980s. MONITORS AND KEYPAD -The keypad is used for all holds. Insert a number and click on the desired hold. To change a hold you have already set a number to you just got to change the number and then turn the hold off and then on. -The central monitor is the hardpoint selector. To use, click on a one of the buttons to select a weapon. Click on ARM and then the weapon can be fired/released by clicking on hotkey 1. It takes awhile for you to learn what every button selects, but it's pretty straight forward. For example: AA is the radar guided Air to Air missiles. Unfortunetly the DROP function does not work. -The monitor to the right is an MFD. It features: ⦁ A sweeping radar (7500M effective range) ⦁ Fuel status ⦁ Map ⦁ G-force meter ⦁ An extra HUD SPEEDS ⦁ Landing speed 150-170 km/h ⦁ Stall speed 150 km/h ⦁ Top speed 750 km/h at sea level Read before use! ⦁ The aircraft tend to shoot itself when pitching up/down to fast, disconnect fuel tank to increase bullet space. ⦁ If the nose landing gear doesn't retract you need to slow down and retry, look at the indicators to tell if it's up/down. If none are on there is a failure and you need to retry. ⦁ The maneuverability of the aircraft increases as speed decreases, i found it most maneuverable at 50% throttle. The maneuverability is also reduced when landing gear is extended. ⦁ With afterburner on, the aircraft can only fly for as little as 5 minutes. Fly at lower throttle to increase range.
