Simple and Optimized Flute Boiler (Coal)
This is just a simple and minimalistically detailed coal powered flute boiler. The coal supply extends downwards, so you can just place as much coal at the bottom of your ship as your heart desires.
You can modify it to have a door in the front to feed the boiler with coal manually, though you have to move the button to light the boiler.
