No Longer Human-Grendels Race Pack

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No Longer Human-Grendels is the first installment of No Longer Human: an expansive, ambitious mod series dedicated to making rimworlds much more biologically diverse, filling them with creatures that have been altered so extremely that whatever resemblance they have to the baseline human form is superficial at best. This mod introduces Grendels to the galactic rim-a brutish, ogre-like reptilian race engineered to inhabit radioactive worlds. The Grendels are a savage bunch, so barbaric that they were never meant to be deployed from the lab ships, because surely whatever "society" the Grendels would create in the wretched wastes they were made to colonize would be so brutal and warlike that it would resemble an army of rabid beasts more than anything else. A few specimens were smuggled off the biotechnical vessels right before the entire race was purged, and every Grendel we see across the fringes of known space was descended from these lucky few. Grendels are more lizard than man genetically: they share DNA with ceratopsids, chameleons, and alligators just to name a few. Most Grendels find employment as enforcers in pirate or mercenary bands. Some groups use them as living siege weapons-if you need turrets ripped from the ground and doors beaten in, you call a Grendel. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is my first mod, so there may be a few problems. If you see anything that looks dumb or isn't working right, please comment whatever. I'll be sure to fix it. I've always loved creature design in video games-I've bought a few games in my time just because I saw pictures of cool monsters on the internet and wanted to fight them. I've also had an interest in making stuff since...forever. And one warm midsummer night, I got the kick into the abyss that is Rimworld modding that I needed when a sad little man screamed at me on Reddit when I posted my mod ideas. So...I made this. And there's way more to come, if I hopefully get around to doing it. Have fun with your Grendel-skin hats, folks! EDIT: Replaced the showcase images so they don't look terrible. Since I run a really large mod setup, a lot of the races that spawned in the pirate factions were from either Det's Xenotypes or VRE. Only the Grendels and Kaekrices are mine, everything else is probably from some other mod, and this mod only adds Grendels. If you want Kaekrices, click on my profile and download NLH-Kaekrix. RERELEASE: I took the old one down, this is the new one because Steam wouldn't let me update the old version for some reason, so I had to make a new page for it? Anyway, this version decreases the spawn rate to avoid overriding Baseliners on larger mod setups in the pirate gang and fixes the spikes on the back being too low on the render (Meaning the spikes aren't coming out of the legs).
