[WYD] Worthless Mechanoids
Following on from [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3497961373]Worthless Junk Adjusted[/url], and [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3555545972]Worthless Plants[/url] I present [b]Worthless Mechanoids[/b] yay! But wait, mechanoids aren't worthless you say? Well, sure if they are in working condition. But a dead one does not have much worth. Sure, one can butcher them but only for a small amount of resources. This mod tweaks the vanilla butcher recipes to add a little more flavour, and adds two new recipes that add even more spice.
[i]Smash Mechanoid[/i] now also presents steel slag chunks to illustrate this is a primitive method of harvesting resources. [i]Shred Mechanoid[/i] now has a little extra steel harvest instead, illustrating a more advanced method. [i]Salvage Mechanoid[/i] is the first of two new [i]Mechinator[/i] only options, and is available at the [i]Crafting Spot[/i]. The other option is [i]Dismantle Mechanoid[/i] a more advanced method available at the [i]Machining Table[/i].
But wait, there's more! If you are also playing with the mod [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3489641608][Meow] Mech Battery[/url] you are in for yet another nice surprise. This mod adds a custom battery, [i]Internal Mechanoid Battery[/i] that drops when mechs are salvaged by a Mechinator. They are considered "damaged" and so can not be recharged, but they do spawn with a random, small amount of power available for your colony mechanoids to snack on.
