Rigid Ideology
A lightweight and simple mod that disables the ability to add or randomize Precepts during the creation of a Fluid Ideology. The configuration of Memes, Deities, Relics, Rituals, and other elements remains fully functional and untouched.
In the mod settings, you can enable a toggle to allow editing precepts during Reformation (disabled by default for maximum immersion).
Why did I make this?
When I first tried creating a Fluid Ideology, I honestly thought I had forgotten to turn off Development Mode. Being able to pick any precept "for free" felt like it broke the balance and the very essence of the chosen Memes. I specifically blocked only the precepts because they have the most significant impact on gameplay, while everything else is mostly cosmetic.
To me, the vanilla system feels like being able to give every starting colonist 20 in every skill — it’s just too much freedom. Sometimes, restrictions make the story much more interesting!
