SSW 900 Steam Locomotive

HISTORY Being the first standard gauge locomotive built for the SSW (Saxovia Staatspoorwegen), the SSW 900 was built between 1864 and 1871. It was built by the Royal-Lyndon Group, which also managed the railway. The locomotive was very successful, and it pulled passenger trains between Holgrad and Grawtihen, and freight trains between Maryn and Hogwenrose. They were in service until 1903, and only 2 were left in the museums, the rest being scrapped. Throttle up the damper 2. Turn on the firebox 3.
