[PokéWorld] Vanilla + Odyssey Biome Tweaks
9/17/25: Added a bit more for values for aquatic pokemon, along with more fishing pokemon (eiscue and piplup line) but I do have one unfortunate note: until I can figure out why coastal pokemon don't show up, the coastal patch is on hold. It IS done, but every dev test and spawned settlement on the coast doesn't have them show up and I don't know why. No errors, they can be manually spawned, they just aren't appearing after map generation. Maybe it could be something with the base mod or the answer is much simpler, but for now, I'm putting it on the backburner until I feel up to figuring that out. Maybe I'll just work on the pollution stuff and updating the predator patch for now.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Because this mod uses a replace patch for reasons (preserving my sanity), I reccommend that if you have another animal mod you want to use with PokeWorld, load THIS PATCH before them. Admittedly with how I had set up these patches and because of how the original base mod's own patches includes every pokemon in every biome, the only way I could think to override the originals was a PatchOperationReplace for the first gen pokemon (vanilla animals were added as well so they should still show up if you change the PW's spawn settings) and then Add for the rest. I'm not sure if this patch coming after others may override modded animals as a result, so just put this before them jic.
Changes what pokemon spawn in what biomes, based on what I think fits best for them, including the Odyssey exclusive biomes as well. This is probably a niche patch for nerds like me who are bothered seeing an ice-type in the desert or something.
Keep in mind, the numbers are less particular compared to the original patches in the base mod, but I never noticed anything too weird in my personal playthroughs or quick dev tests. Some pokemon's placements could be debatable, mostly ghost-types, psychic-types, or pokemon that don't seem to have a real canon habitat for whatever reason, or at least not a habitat vanilla rimworld can match.
This does not include coastalWildAnimals, pollutionWildAnimals, or modded biomes. The first two are planned for later, and the last will probably include a Medieval Overhaul patch at best since it's the only mod with added biomes I actually play, honestly (that and Edo Expansion but at the time of writing this I haven't checked if it's been updated).
EDIT AND IMPORTANT NOTE I ALMOST FORGOT: the odyssey patches only go up to gen 5 for now! I was working through a lot of pokemon and numbers and tweaks at once so at some point I had to tell myself to stop hyperfixating but I'll get to them after updating the predator patches.
God this took way too long.
