Description
The FFG-395 Hercules is a fast multi-role Nuclear Frigate with a large range of capabilities. Its diverse selection of armaments allow it to engage targets from point-blank range all the way out to 17km. The Hercules also has the capacity for joint operations with its landing deck and RHIB hanger.

Operation
TURN OFF INFINITE ELECTRIC
Startup
- First turn the Ship Systems key in the bridge. (NOTE: This must be done first before operating weapon systems.)
- To enable the CIWS and autochaff turn the Active Protection Systems key
- To start the reactor, go to the reactor room and turn on all valves, pumps, condenser, precooling system, and speedheat. Next arm the reactor and set fuel rod insertion all the way to 1, then turn the reactor start override key and Start Reactor. (NOTE: The reactor takes about 1 minute to start generating power and 5 to reach full operating power.)
RHIB Deployment
The RHIB gantry is remote controlled on channel 8. Make sure you unlock the gantry and release the RHIB from the hardpoint connector before operating. There are also instructions in the wall in the Hanger.
Weapons Operation
RIM-116
The RIM-116 uses manual guidance as well as target lock for control. Use keybind 2 to lock target.
75mm Autocannon
The 75mm uses manual guidance as well as target lock for control. Use keybind 3 to lock target. To accurately engage targets use either the laser or radar rangefinder. (Cannot use both at once) The left and right arrow keys can be used to manually trim the gun elevation and can be reset with keybind 4.
Tomahawk Cruise Missiles
First turn the systems key. Missiles can be individually selected using the arrows on the control panel. To select a target, hold down on it on the radar screen and press the trigger hotkey. The target will turn a darker shade of red when locked. Next toggle the arm switch and fire away! When selecting a different target first press the R on the display screen first. To manually input target coordinates use the keypad and toggle the Manual Target Coordinates switch. Missile targets must remain in radar view in order to reach their target. These missiles are intended for naval and ground based targets.
