This mod allows offering jade to the gauranlen tree.
The gauranlen tree now has a supply of jade. Each day, the tree will use up the jade to halve the dryad spawn timer. 20 jade is worth one day.
Examples:
- The tree has 5 days of jade stored and needs 6 more days to spawn a dryad. It will use up 3 days of jade and shorten the timer to 3 days. It will have 2 days of jade left and will do another time spawn shortening tomorrow.
- The tree has 2 days of jade stored and needs 4 more days to spawn a dryad. It will use up 2 days of jade and shorten the timer to 2 days. It will have no more jade left and can't shorten the spawn timer tomorrow unless you add more.
- The tree has 1 day of jade stored and needs 3 more days to spawn a dryad. It will use up 1 day of jade and shorten the timer to 2 days. It will have no more jade left and can't shorten the spawn timer tomorrow unless you add more.
Basically, this allows shortening dryad spawn timer as long as you have jades to offer (why do you think those tribals always carry jade?)
Compatibility
Should be compatible with any mod that doesn't completely overhaul dryad spawning, I guess. All this mod does is make gauranlen tree "refuelable" and make it halve its spawn timer each day as long as it has available jade "fuel".
To Do Ideas
- Make animus stone increase max dryad.
- Make tribal ritual that lets them long-range mineral scan for jade ores through divinations. Kinda like using prospecting rods to find water.
- Make a ritual that turns a legendary jade statue into an animus stone. Making it craftable but still balanced.
