Career Starter Vessel
The Patron is a small search and rescue vessel designed specifically for career mode beginners. With a fully equipped cost of 30,000, she provides all the essential features needed to tackle your first career missions. For those starting with the default 20,000 budget, you can strip down non-essential equipment like the medical bed, heater, some gear, or even the entire conning tower to get under budget while maintaining core functionality.
THe vessel comfortably accommodates up to 10 passengers and can be operated entirely by a single person. Her stable hull design ensures safe operations even in challenging conditions, though captains should note her slow acceleration. Once up to speed, she reaches a respectable maximum of 20 knots.
The Patron features a practical conning tower that elevates the operator above deck level, providing excellent visibility for navigation and rescue operations. The combination of basic SAR equipment, medical facilities, and creature comforts makes the Patron an ideal stepping stone for aspiring career mode mariners.
