The CIWC KASSET system is a close-in weapon system engineered for the active defense against guided and unguided missiles, as well as kamikaze drones and surface craft.
It is equipped with both a search radar and a target-tracking (lock) radar. The search radar provides a 4-km detection range with a 180-degree scanning arc, ensuring reliable early acquisition of incoming threats.
As the first CIWC developed in my series, the KASSET has seen action in ground-based deployments, rail-mounted configurations, and naval operations, where it has consistently demonstrated high operational effectiveness.
