Helixien Gas → Deepchem Condenser
A small, balanced bridge mod that finally links Helixien Gas to Deepchem.
Add a Gas Condenser that consumes Helixien gas via pipes and outputs Deepchem to the Deepchem network. Simple, reliable, and tuned to fit vanilla/VE pacing.
What you get
- Gas Condenser building: takes Helixien gas (VHGE) → produces Deepchem (VCHE)
- Uses existing pipe networks (input: VHGE_HelixienNet, output: VCHE_DeepchemNet)
- Research: Gas condensing (after 'Gas extraction'); then build from Production
- Power draw: moderate; 3x3 footprint
Why it's the missing link
- Helixien Gas Expanded supplies a clean gas pipeline
- Vanilla Chemfuel Expanded uses Deepchem as the upstream for chemfuel
- This mod connects the two, enabling coherent fuel chains and base logistics
Balance (short)
- Helixien Pump baseline: ~1 unit per 250 ticks
- Condenser throughput default: 3 units per 300 ticks cap (bottlenecked by pump supply)
- Outcome: one condenser comfortably serves a single pump; multiple pumps can saturate it
- Goal: useful, not overpowered; tune-able if needed
