The minua are a short-lived spark but ready to meet the world as quick as they can, with a knack for taking out foes at range from the dark.
The result of a reconstruction effort by a confederation of genetic support administrations following the discovery and destruction of a highly illegal genetic experimentation operation that sought to create quickly replicating soldiers ready for battle as quickly as possible.
This project led to mouse-like degeneration of baseliners until they were little more than under-developed animals roving the rimworld the experiments with taking place on. Much work has been done with the surviving thousands of subjects and their following generations have seen much restoration closer to baseline function and ability but some traits have stubbornly resisted removal, returning over generations.
