[WYD] Better Vanilla Meals
This mod changes the vanilla [i]Simple Meal[/i], and adds a bunch of new meal types. It kinda bugged me that one could not set a cannibal or insect meat diet for those pawns who are so inclined, and that variant simple meals got stacked together, and could not be separated for storage, or meal assignments. I looked around in the workshop, but nothing was available that would cater to my needs. And so, this mod was born.
This mod adds the following to the game:
- Vegetarian simple meals.
- Carnivore simple meals.
- Cannibal simple, fine and lavish meals.
- Insect simple, fine and lavish meals.
- Fungus simple, fine and lavish meals.
- Dubious simple, fine and lavish meals. (new, requires [b]Anomaly[/b] DLC)
- Mixed fine and lavish meals. (new)
Additionally, [i]the default meals have been altered to only use animal products in their recipes*[/i], and have been renamed "universal" meals. This was done to prevent vanilla carnivore and vegetarian simple meals from being crafted, as these would continue to stack into each other, defeating the purpose of the new vegetarian and carnivore simple meals.
Fine and Lavish meals jave also been change for a similar reason, and "mixed" fine and lavish meals have been added as new recipes to replace the only versions. A "dubious" meal crafted from twisted meat has also been added! D:
Finally, this mod adds the same categories for simple, fine and lavish meals that all my mods that add meals use, which are compliant with the mod [b]VGP Vegetable Garden[/b] so they will all fit snugly into their categories. A new Fungus category has also been added.
*Please note this does not limit your options, it only lets you better manage your storage, and meal assignment, since vegetarian, and carnivore simple meals have been added.
