Alvin (DSV-2) is a crewed deep-ocean research submersible owned by the United States Navy and operated by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, First to reach RMS Titanic, Recovered a sunk hydrogen warhead, discovered the hydrothermal vents, and even spent a year sunk in the bottom of the ocean, until the submarine Aluminaut recovered it.

[*] Fill fuel and air tanks (air tank is automatic on surface).
[*] Start the generator ( it can run underwater with his air tank).
[*] Flood the ballast (its automatic).
[*] Start diving, you may use the depth holder to help yourself.
[*] DBT means: Depth Below Transducer, this is your distance from the seabed.
[*] For using jason with it, hook both by a cable, use the big winch located at the front bottom of alvin and the top cable anchor on jason.
[*] Jason is able of following Alvin and holding the same depth.
