< ======= About ======= >
The Crypto Coffin functions like a cryptosleep casket, but made specifically for corpses.
Perfect for funerals, meditation, or keeping a special pawn preserved until you obtain a resurrector serum.
If you also have RimCryptoEconomy (v1.6) installed, you can enable Crypto Mining Mode.
When activated, the brain of the corpse inside will be used to mine crypto coins.
The catch?
No skeletons and no empty piles of bones. As long as the brain exists, even damaged, mining works.
Yes, this means you can turn raiders into a crypto empire.
No, you definitely didn't get that idea from me.

< ======= FAQ ======= >
Q: Why fork the original mod?
Before it was updated, the original mod was broken. Preservation did not work correctly and it produced errors. On 12/15/25, the original author returned and released an update that fixed all known bugs.
Q: Since the original mod has fixed the bugs, is this mod really needed?
A-1: For the most part, no. It is no longer necessary. Based on my understanding and past playtesting with the updated version, the original mod is now fixed and works as intended. In fact, I recommend using it.
A-2: At this point, the only differences between the original mod and this one are that this mod does not require Harmony and it adds optional RimCryptoEconomy support. That is pretty much it.
A-3: Even though I announced in the comments that this mod is now largely redundant, over 2,000 more players still downloaded it. I am very thankful for that. Unless I receive a removal request or something else changes, I will keep this mod available to avoid breaking existing saves and for the reasons mentioned above.
Q: Can I mine cryptocurrency on my dead pawn’s brain?
A: Yes. Install RimCryptoEconomy v1.6.
Q: Is there a mod that lets me put corpses inside a cryptosleep casket?
A: I recommend Mile’s continued version, which can be found here
