The St. john was built as just john in Britan in 1902, she carried cargo for many years until she was turned into a hospital ship for the pacific in 1914 only weeks before ww1 started. During WW1 she saved many passengers and crew from many ships, in 1917 she was sunk by a french ship with a forward facing gun, the ship thought it to be a German warship, due to it having a front gun. 19 Out of 26 went down with her.
