The KVH 2 is an attempt to solve an issue that arose while towing larger trailers with my lighter KLV 2 series.
While the KLV2 was more than capable of towing such loads with help, the engine would overheat very quickly, and thus would strand me out in the middle of nowhere!
After this experience I felt it was finally time to upgrade.
the KVH 2 runs an extra 2 cyllindars, 2 gears, and bigger wheels allowing it to do way more in the heavy haul department. it's also got an electric motor to assist with issues of climbing via heavy loads.
This truck is kinda crudely put together as was my first real entry into heavier engines, thus control is a little jank. The technologies associated with my gen2 KLV series (like KLV3 and KLV21) are not applied to the KVH 2 so steering is limited and slow to account for longer durations at higher speeds, as well as there is a lack of governor on the engine meaning the vehicle accelerates extremely rapidly while unloaded.
This truck is capable of doing delivery missions over medium ranges, as well as being the basis of any utility you may decide to put on the back
