Introduction
The Shoal-class escort carriers excel in providing air coverage to convoys (their originally intended purpose) or small flotillas. It carries the same number of aircraft as larger carriers, albeit at a smaller size; the F22 fighter bomber aircraft is a compact, custom-built aircraft designed specifically for its role on escort carriers like the Shoal-class. The ship itself contains a number of quality-of-life features commonly found in capitol ships, and even features such luxuries as heating! Affordable, reasonably fast, and well-defended, the Shoal-class is the foundation of every small fleet engagement.
This ship does NOT require a custom workbench to spawn, and fits within the vanilla large workbench. Despite this, it may reduce performance on some lower-end PCs.

When moving planes in the hanger, ensure you fold the propellers before attempting to move the planes as otherwise they will get stuck.
Landing Procedure:
- If possible, ensure the ship is heading into the wind, which will allow the plane to go slower while maintaining lift.
- Ensure any torpedoes are jettisoned before landing.
- Lower landing gear and arresting hook (ensure the landing hook disconnect button is disabled).
- Decrease throttle to ~50% while lining up with carrier. Use rudders and ailerons.
- Decrease throttle to ~30% soon before landing.
- After landing, decrease throttle to 0% and engage landing gear brakes.
There is a high likelihood that propellers will end up broken, owing to the short landing gear and oftentimes steep approach angles. Simply repair these with a welder.
Note: Some of the hatches and other minor systems are a bit janky! For janky vertical hatches, it is best to try to crouch while going up ladders and through hatches.
