QUESTION: Do the monsters spawn as allies or enemies?
[hr]A: They spawn as enemies. Note that the parents or other family members may have relationships with the monster. Killing it can upset some family members, which is expected
QUESTION: Why do the monsters not spawn as allies?
[hr]A-1: Currently, they are fleshbeasts. When forced into joining the player colony, they are either useless or require significant micromanagement, and even then they are harder to use and less effective than actual tamable animals. From my understanding, Anomaly fleshbeasts were not designed for that type of playthrough.
A-2: That said, if someone can point out what I am missing, or if there is a RimWorld mod that makes fleshbeasts more effective and useful when allied with the player colony, I would consider adding a setting that allows them to spawn as allies.
