Vehicles - partridge(Helldivers 2)
This mod adds Partridge, a heavy vertical take-off and landing transport that can transport vehicles
The Partridge shuttle was a single stage into orbit (SSTO) transport with a rotary engine, mounted with a medium-caliber (precision shell unknown) automaton gun under its cockpit. (mod is a castrated version, I'll put the 30mm gun on when phil is out of the dogfight.) Due to their landing gear design, Partridge can only take off and land vertically, and each shuttle can carry up to one or two large vehicles at a time; In addition, heavy cargo (such as fuel tanks and Patriot powered armor [soon]) could be mounted to the underside of the shuttle for transport. (I'm too lazy to draw a cargo hold, so this thing is just a vehicle carrier.)
While the Partridge shuttle's engines appear to be just jet engines, they are apparently capable of operating in both atmospheric and vacuum environments at the same time, suggesting that they are actually some kind of advanced rocket engine, a combined cycle engine (with aspirated and closed cycle modes of operation), or a thermonuclear jet. No matter what type of engine it uses, it must be very efficient; The design of the Partridge shuttle indicates that its fuel tank size is very small (compared to single-stage orbiters).
