Fire Hose. Radar and Sonar. Heading Hold. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Story: Belfort considering her powerplant is a surprisingly new ship. Being built in 1988 she is fairly modern. Her class actually goes all the way back to 1915. In 1997 Belfort received her cargo cranes to make unloading easier. Although the cranes were a bit cumbersome to handle she made it work. In 2004 She was given better unloading cranes which she still uses today. In 2015 Belfort was refitted so her 2 cargo holds got connected via ducts. Making it easier to unload. In 2017 She had a bit of an accident. Some pumps had been installed wrong so they ended up pumping water into the 3'rd cargo hold and the engine room. But because the front had been weighed down her front crane ended up below water and let water in. The captain managed to save the ship in the most interesting way. He opened the aft watertight doors so more pumps were active. Then he put the ship in reverse. And because of how the ship got angled she slowly pulled herself out of the water. After 5 minutes of going backwards in a sinking ship they came across the hospital island. The captain then turned Belfort around and drove her bow onto shallow water. Allowing the crane to come up from the water. Eventually they managed to pump all the water out and get the pumps fixed. Belfort is still in service today. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Radar and sonar made by: Zizo. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Feel free to like and comment.
